Get the (possibly human annotated) data extracted from the document of the given process. Simple data is referred to elements with definied not unary multiplicity with respect to the given document in the given process.
The Unbounded Fields Extraction API in KAPTO is specially designed to recover data from fields classified as "unbounded" in the entity schema. As discussed in our guide on Entity Extraction in KAPTO: Simple and Unbounded Fields, unbounded fields are elements that form part of a structure that needs to be captured multiple times within a document. Examples of unbounded fields might include line items in a shipping note or an invoice, or related parties in a writ of summons.
With the Unbounded Fields Extraction API, you can perform an API call to retrieve a comprehensive list of unbounded entities discovered in a document, along with their respective AI-extracted values. When explicitly requested by KAPTO, human-annotated values are also available where a human operator has reviewed and possibly amended the AI-extracted value.
This blend of AI extraction and human annotation empowers users to systematically sift through documents and extract repeated instances of valuable information, transforming complex unstructured data into structured, actionable insights. For further information, about annotations please refer to the Human Annotation in KAPTO brief guideline.
