Emails as transaction attachments and KAPTO
KAPTO provides specific APIs designed to manage the complexity of inbound communication transactions. One of these APIs specifically allows you to attach an .EML file to a given inbound transaction, thus preserving the complete original context of the communication.
An .EML file is a file format developed by Microsoft® for Outlook® and Outlook Express®. An .EML file contains the contents of an email message, including the body of the message, any attachments, and the headers - which include the email addresses of the sender and recipients, the subject, and the time and date of the message. In other words, .EML files are a way of saving and archiving complete email messages in their original format.
When you receive an email communication that you wish to process in KAPTO, you can use this API to attach the .EML file of the email to the corresponding inbound transaction in KAPTO. This process not only ensures that the original email message is preserved in its entirety, but it also allows KAPTO's powerful AI algorithms to extract relevant information from the .EML file, including the body of the email, attachments, and even data from the email headers.
The API to attach an .EML file to an inbound transaction in KAPTO is an essential tool for any organization that wants to leverage AI to automate and enhance its email processing capabilities. It enables you to maintain a complete and accurate record of your inbound communications while also benefiting from the power of KAPTO's AI algorithms to extract insights from those communications.
